Now that I have been basking in the enjoyment of being able to sleep for more than 5+ hours without being disturbed for homework I never had the chance to ask what kind of sewing tutorials would you like to see? I have to ask to keep it in the sewing range because I still have ones from back in early May asking for how to do certain costumes etc. so I want to finish those but for right now what DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?

Here are some ideas I just came up with while typing this journal out:

BASIC BUYING FORMULAS

The reason I would want to put this kind of tutorial up is to help anyone who is going to school to become a fashion buyer. I had a crash (hated it) course in using Excel and I felt that this can be MUCH easier then the way they taught me.

USING A SERGER

I am sure everyone who has been sewing for a while knows what a serger is and if you don't its a machine that finishes hems and seams. I have a three thread one and a 4-5 cone one.

BASIC SKIRT

Who doesn't want to learn on how to make your own basic skirt?

ADDING A WEIGHT CHAIN TO YOUR SKIRT

Say what? I am sure you are asking yourself "Why would I want to add a chain to the hem of my skirt?" Ladies you know when you step outside of the house and the wind is blowing so hard that you find yourself temporarily blinded by fabric and for some reason people are laughing at your choice of Victoria secret underwear then you know how annoying it is to have to tame your skirt with one hand and keep your purse from falling with the other. So this way not only can you keep your skirts from blowing up and flashing skin but it can also help keep them looking very nice through out the day.

HOW TO INSTALL A ZIPPER

Oh the dreaded zipper I known people cowering from the all mighty zip zip sound and running to be comforted by the rough feel of elastic. But as you know me I like to keep things simple and showing step by step so that your never lost. Plus you need to know how to install one just incase it breaks and you don't really want to spend $10 bucks taking it to the dry cleaners huh? I know I got tired of paying some lady to tell me that it will be done in a week. NO I WANT IT NOW NOT LATER.



Again its whatever you want or what I can get finished before I move.
